Tema construido en base al K ́antu, una danza ceremonial boliviana
de origen precolombino, que se interpreta con varios sicus
o zampoñas (flautas de pan andinas), que tocan en intervalos
de cuartas y quintas paralelas. Originalmente sólo se toca con
flautas y tambores, y suele ser una banda de sicuris quien lo interpreta,
pero en esta ocasión el autor ha hecho un arreglo para
grupo reducido, incluyendo instrumentos de cuerda (Charango
ronroco, guitarra y cello) además de otra flauta ajena al K ́antu,
el quenacho.
